The team is top notch from the very beginning, very good at communicating and getting back to the client. They keep you up-to-date with the service and scheduling of the techs, and Let you know if any delays right away. We were lucky to have Alex for a comprehensive check in the unit, the follow up work was done by him and Carlos. They described all the work they were gonna do and once they were done, they narrated what was done and gave some tips to keep the equipment going. Absolutely horrible. Repeatedly reschedules due to their own errors and takes multiple trips to fix an issue to drive up their hours. Customer service is terrible and unresponsive after 4:30 and they offer no weekend support. Akian always does great work. This time, Alex helped fix a clogged drain for our HVAC system and recommended some more reliable fail-safe mechanisms. Scheduling was pretty easy, and we were able to resolve the issue on the first visit.

We were happy with the plumbing work done by George A, replacing several shutoff valves, including the house main.  He was helpful in explaining how we should coordinate with the water department. - - - - Less than a week later, we had a second great experience with Akian. We were very pleased with the bathroom plumbing work done by Chase D. and Jaelin M. They made every effort to first repair the old dripping shower/tub fixture, but found that was not possible and explained why.  They were quickly able to pivot to a replacement, clearly explaining what options were available and how it would be accomplished by cutting a hole in the closet wall behind the tub.  They took care to cut a neat hole and cleaned up the resulting dust.  We also had the old bathroom sink faucet replaced.  They encountered difficulties due to the age of these fixtures, but Chase and Jaelin were able to handle them with ease, replacing additional pipes when needed. Akian have done several large projects on my home. Most recently they installed a new EV charger. They were professional, respectful, and friendly on every visit. They took ownership of any delays or complications and seem to honestly care about my satisfaction as much as my. Their customer service via text and phones is very responsive and makes coordination easy even when I'm too busy to make or receive calls. I called to ask for a general price range for replacing a P-trap. They told me they would not provide any pricing information unless they first sent a master plumber out for a $120 service call. I even asked what the *lowest* possible cost for a basic P-trap replacement would be, just so I could have some idea of what to expect, and they still refused to answer. That made me uncomfortable. I understand that an exact quote may require seeing the job in person, but refusing to provide even a starting price or rough range felt unnecessarily vague. Sean and Andrew were great. I came home from work one day to discover water damage to my bathroom ceiling. Sean came out quickly to assess the situation. He was able to get someone out to remediate right away. Once the cleanup was complete, Andrew came out to do some further investigate and was able to successfully identify the water source in my very old condo building in Brighton. So wanted to give an update to a 2 star review i left for Akian for work done about a month ago.  I had two gripes:  Call center customer service and dispatch and high pricing. I have to give their management credit:  They saw my review, reached out and yesterday service manage Jeff called me.  It's rare these days for someone to really listen to how things looked on my side of the road and to Jeff's credit he did that.  Not only that we reached and agreement regarding what i felt was high pricing two two of the three components they replaced on my AC system. In addition he mentioned that they are moving away from the foreign call center customer service--this is a good thing.  Who wants to feel if they get disconnected they can't call the person back?  All this reassured me that despite some issues they are getting themselves on track and that they cared enough to make things right for me.

Carlos came today to troubleshoot my central AC. which stopped working yesterday.  He was very upfront saying that he was unfamiliar with my particular set up. However, with assistance from his office, he was able to diagnose and fix the issue.  It was not a simple 1-2-3 due to the poor initial installation from another company 9 years ago.  He was diligent looking for solutions and was able to get the  AC working.  Part of the issue was the thermostat, which he replaced. Do not call if you actually have an emergency.  Called them around 5pm this afternoon, told them my toilet was leaking all over the floor and that I was on the ground floor of a multi-floor condominium building.  They opened a ticket and said someone would be out between 6pm and midnight.  Called around 6:30 to see if there was an update, because even with the water turned off I had about 2 inches of water leaking out onto the floor.  She said the plumber was finishing up a call then heading to me.  I called an hour later and she said "oh, we don't service multi-floor buildings you will have to call someone else but they NEVER called to tell me.  Wasted two hours waiting for a plumber that was never coming, causing damage to the bathroom floor and the carpeting in the hallway.
